"The Valley Spirit never dies, it is the woman, primal mother. Her gateway is the root of heaven and earth, It is there within us all the while, yet barely seen. Use it: It will never fail."

- LaoTzu

This is a remarkable time in your life on many levels. Practicing yoga during your pregnancy is an excellent way to strengthen all aspects of yourself, physically, emotionally as well as spiritually. It is also a wonderful way to connect with other women who empathize and understand your experience. This resource guide refers to insightful as well as practical information for you during your journey to birthing your child. I encourage you to be with people who support you during this time and become familiar with the places that give you comfort, strength and courage. A noted midwife, mother and healer says "Labor begins at the moment of conception". A woman who carries a child, who gives birth to become a mother is already a laboring woman. Mothering is truly a labor of love. Wishing you and your child many blessings on the birth journey!
